Soccer Goals

O asked us to make him some soccer goals.  He wanted them to be light enough to transport to the park.  I’d been wanting to make some that we could use either inside (for winter floor hockey or soccer in the basement) or outside.

So this weekend, we went to Home Depot and bought the supplies.

We had them cut four 10-ft piences of 3/4 in PVC into eight 3-ft lengths, and eight 1-ft lengths.  (We also asked for one extra of each length, in case we lose one.)  Then we bought 8 elbow joints and 4 T joints.

Voila!  Both O and M have taken the goals up and down by themselves.  Now I just have to sew a quick drawstring in which to store them when we take them down, and then we’re good to take them to the park.  Soccer, anyone?
